Prey: Synopsis
The summary reads, “Set 300 years ago in the Comanche Nation, Prey is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly accomplished fighter.” “She was raised in the shadow of some of the Great Plains’ most famed hunters, so when her camp is threatened, she sets out to protect her people.” The prey she chases and eventually encounters turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technologically advanced armament, resulting in a fierce and horrifying fight.”

The Prey video, which you can watch below along with the key art poster, follows a young female hunter who, after being pursued by a bear, comes face to face with an unknown monster from the sky.
Prey: Cast
Amber Midthunder (The Ice Road), newcomer Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp (Sooyii), Michelle Thrush (The Journey Home), and Julian Black Antelope are among the cast’s Native and First Nation’s members (Tribal). The Predator will be played by Dane DiLiegro (American Horror Stories).

Dan Trachtenberg directs Prey, which is based on a script by Patrick Aison. Lawrence Gordon, Ben Rosenblatt, James E. Thomas, John C. Thomas, and Marc Toberoff serve as executive producers alongside John Davis, Jhane Myers, and Marty Ewing.
The prequel will be available on Hulu wholly in Comanche as a language choice, or with Comanche subtitles, marking the first time a feature-length film has been available in the Comanche language in its entirety on a direct-to-consumer streaming platform.
