According to its Pokedex description, Hippopotas can only be found in the Asado Desert in Paldea. The Hippo Pokemon is a frequent sight in the Asado Desert, where its Trainers often discover it buried in the sand.
Many Pokemon, including Hippopotas, have distinct male and female forms. Male hippos have tawny skin and snouts and dark brown irises. The irises of female hippos are beige, while their muzzle and torso are brown.
