Pokemon Scarlet & Violet – How to Reset EVs
Trainers of the Pokemon series have long relied on EV (Effort Value) training to improve their teams’ overall effectiveness. The one catch with this strategy is that you can’t start from scratch and must instead use your current party’s statistics. In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, we’ll show you how to reset your EVs using a new method introduced in the most recent game in the series.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet – How to Reset EVs:
Use of certain berries on the Pokemon by the player will reset its EVs. All of your party members’ stats will decrease as you use each item, but you’ll have to keep using them until the monster’s HP and MP are completely restored.
The following are the effects of each berry in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet:
Pomeg Berry: Lowers HP
Kelpsy Berry: Lowers Attack
Qualot Berry: Lowers Defense
Tamato Berry: Lowers Speed
Hondew Berry: Lowers Special Attack
Grepa Berry: Lowers Special Defense
The Berries part of a player’s Bag is where they can use these fruits.
Because of the inability to alter their stats, some creatures, such as Paradox Pokemon, cannot use these goods. However, it can be used on other types as well.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Strategies for Gathering Berries
The Paldea region is where players can find berries in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet by exploring the area and picking up shiny objects. At the Porto Marinada Market, you may find an assortment of fruits and other goods up for auction. Auctions like these contain a shuffled assortment of goods, so selecting the right one could take some time. However, gamers can visit this marketplace at different times to see if the berries are in stock.
Trainers can check a vendor’s stock by looking at the text boxes while they wander the Porto Marinada Market. If the fruit is up for auction, you should save the game before placing a bid so you can try again if you are unsuccessful.
