Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to evolve Tandemaus into Maushold

Tandemaus, a Pokémon made up of two individual mouse-like rodent Pokémon that function as one has quickly become a fan favorite despite the abundance of massive and powerful new Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. They are so adorably cute. Even more adorable is Tandemaus’ evolutionary development. The original two mice from Maushold are still there, along with two new mice. Trainers are finding that the adorable small mouse family is nonetheless highly effective on the battlefield, despite the larger mice’s natural tendency to be somewhat protective. We’ve gathered the confirmed evolution information about Tandemaus right here for you because there are many bizarre rumors about how and when it evolves.

We didn’t encounter this in our tests, despite there being occasional instances of Tandemaus evolving at random in a box or while exploring Paldeaa. There is a specific technique to evolve Tandemaus into Maushold if you want to view the evolution animation, although doing so is really straightforward. Starting at level 25, Tandemaus can only level up through combat until evolving into Maushold. Tandemaus won’t evolve using XP or rare candies; instead, they will just level up.

Tandemaus can make an enemy Pokémon faint during combat, which results in the usual evolution animation being shown after the battle. Tandemaus, however, will evolve off-screen if it gains experience through experience sharing—for example if you use another Pokémon to defeat a trainer. Simply look for a Maushold in your group. Maushold generally consists of two parents and two children (two mouse Pokémon); however, there is an uncommon variation that changes things up a little.

Another variant of Maushold has a single youngling. According to Bulbagarden, a Tandemaus has a one in one hundred probability of evolving into a family of three Mausholds. The evolution form is governed by the encryption constant. The chances of encountering mausholds in Tera Raid Battles vary.
