Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to evolve Bisharp into Kingambit
Since its debut in the fifth-generation Pokémon Black and White, Bisharp has been the dark-steel darling of the Pokémon franchise. Bisharp, a superb attacker with a distinctive style, has over the years led both competitive teams and casual gym challenge squads. Because it has a brand-new evolution called Kingambit, Bisharp is back in the spotlight with the arrival of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
How to evolve Bisharp into Kingambit in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
It’s not particularly difficult to evolve Bisharp into Kingambit, but it is a highly unusual procedure. You’ll need to demonstrate that your Bisharp is superior to other Pokemon in the wild, just like it says in the Pokédex record.
- Only with the use of a unique held item known as Leader’s Crest can Kingambit evolve into Bisharp. This item can only be discovered in the bamboo thicket in North Province, possessed by a wild Bisharp that is surrounded by Pawniards (Area 2). To get the Leader’s Crest, you must go to this location and engage in combat with and ultimately capture one of these Bisharp. For the remainder of this process, you can either leave this item on the captured Bisharp or move it to another Bisharp (for example, if you’ve raised a Pawniard since early-game).
- You must beat three additional wild bison bearing the leader’s crest after you have a bison holding the leader’s crest. Simply explore North Province (Area 2) to locate additional Bisharp encircled by Pawniards and engage them in combat.
- After you take down the third leader, Bisharp, your Bisharp will instantly transform into a Kingambit.
