Pokemon GO: How to Beat Arlo
You can locate the leaders of Team Go Rocket once you have gathered enough Mysterious Components to construct the Rocket Radar. Even though Arlo are difficult, this tutorial will teach you what you need to know to defeat them in Pokemon Go.
Pokemon GO: How to Beat Arlo
We should start by taking a peek at the members of’mons Arlo’s team. The first opponent is consistent, but the second and third can be anything but. Arlo could have any of these Pokemon:
Pokemon 1
Teddiursa (Normal)
Pokemon 2
Hypno (Psychic)
Blaziken (Fire/Fighting)
Golurk (Ground/Ghost)
Pokemon 3
Scizor (Bug/Steel)
Banette (Ghost)
Luxray (Electric)

Arlo Battle 1
Teddiursa
Unless Teddiursa uses its charge move Play Rough, it poses little threat. While Pokemon of the Fighting type will do the most harm, even Play Rough will be a huge help. Protect yourself from Teddiursa’s initial charge strike, and then finish off this adorable bear.
Mega Blaziken, Machamp, Lucario, Mega Alakazam, and Breloom are some of the best choices.
Arlo Battle 2
Hypno
Hypno, like its predecessor Teddiursa, is a relatively simple Pokemon who only has one type. Pokemon of the Ghost type are the most reliable and effective options here, though those of the Dark type are also good. Use a barrier or else you might get knocked out by Hypno’s Focus Blast.
Mega Gengar, Mega Absol, Mega Banette, Mega Houndoom, and Darkrai are some of the best options.
Blaziken
The use of water, flight, rock, or ground is reliable, but Psychic megas are absolutely devastating. In this case, a Blastoise, Swampert, or Kyogre will suffice in the absence of a Psychic-type mega Pokemon.
Mega Alakazam, Mega Gallade, Primal Groudon, Mega Gardevoir, and Mega Latios are excellent choices.
Golurk
Golurk is a rare Ground/Ghost type and has a unique appearance. Unfortunately, it’s weakness to Grass and Water Pokemon, which have been present in the game since debut, is a major drawback. The addition of megas makes this fight farcical.
Recommended Pokemon: Mega Gyarados, Primal Groudon, Mega Sceptile, Mega Kyogre, and Mega Sceptile
Arlo Battle 3
Banette
Arlo’s squad now includes not one, but two Ghost-types. To even the score, you can either dispatch more powerful spirits or a Pokemon from the Dark type. You should be wary of using a Ghost-type here because Shadow Ball is very likely to deal a one-hit kill.
Recommended: Mega Absol, Mega Gengar, Mega Gyarados, Mega Banette, and Mega Darkrai
Scizor
The final fight may seem daunting against a super-powered Scizor, but not if you have a reliable Fire-type counter. To defeat Arlo, you should only use your strongest Fire-type Pokemon.
Heatran, Ho-Oh, Mega Charizard Y, Mega Blaziken, and Reshiram are excellent choices.
Luxray
Suddenly, a Pokemon of the Electric type materializes! Luxray is a challenging opponent due to its five distinct charge attacks and Hidden Power fast attack. However, using Pokemon with the Ground type is still the most effective strategy for defeating Arlo.
Recommended Pokemon are Primal and Regular Groudon, Therian Forme Landorus, Regigigas, Mega Swampert, and Excadrill.
Best Pokemon Squad to Defeat Arlo
There is a good variety of Pokemon in this trainer’s team, and the icing on the cake is a difficult Luxray. Even so, Arlo is still vulnerable to the proper combination of players.
The best members of our squad to defeat Arlo are:
Mega Blaziken (Counter | Blast Burn)
Groudon (Mud Shot | Precipice Blades)
Darkrai (Snarl | Dark Pulse)
Secondary Team:
Breloom (Counter | Grass Knot)
Mega Gyarados (Bite | Aqua Tail)
Heatran (Fire Spin | Flamethrower)
