Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Legendary: Pokémon guide
Outside of the ones on the cover, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl offers a slew of Legendary Pokémon for players to hunt down. The best way to catch Legendary Pokémon and where to look for them are covered in our guide to Legendary Pokémon.
This guide concentrates on Pokémon that can be found in the ordinary overworld, not in the new Ramanas Park or via gifts.
Search of LEGENDARY POKÉMON
Putting the Legendary Pokémon to sleep and lowering its health is the greatest strategy after it’s found. This is the most effective approach for catching Pokémon in the general sense.
You should have a Pokémon with a sleep-inducing move, such as Sleep Powder or Hypnosis, in order to catch Legendary Pokémon. (Hypnosis with Gardevoir was employed.) The Ultra and Timer Balls will likely be the most frequently used. You should also stock up on Quick and Quick Ultra Balls. TM54, False Swipe, can be taught to an eligible Pokémon.
If you want to catch a legendary Pokémon, complete these steps:
Save before you encounter the Pokémon, just in case.
Engage the Pokémon in battle.
Throw a Quick Ball right away.
If that fails, put the Pokémon to sleep.
Lower the Pokémon’s health as low as possible. You can use the move False Swipe to leave it at 1 HP.
Keep putting it back to sleep if it wakes up.
To catch it, keep throwing Ultra Balls at it. Use Timer Balls instead if the combat lasts more than 10 turns.
LEGENDARY Pokemon can be found in BRILLIANT DIAMOND and SHINING PEARL
Listed here are the Legendary Pokémon that may be found in the underworld: Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Dialga and Palkia are the only two Pokémon that require you to not have beaten the Pokémon League. The Sinnoh region Pokédex is also required for some of them.
Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus are not currently playable in the game and will likely be brought to it through events in the near future..
DIALGA AND PALKIA
Dialga and Palkia may only be obtained through the use of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. After beating Cyrus from Team Galactic, Dialga and Palkia will be on Spear Pillar, and you’ll need to capture your respective Legendary.
It is at Cynthia’s granny in Celestic Town that you can add another Pokémon to your Pokédex.
MESPRIT
At Lake Verity, near your home, Mesprit will be waiting for you. Mesprit will flee the scene as soon as you interact with it. As long as you want to catch it, you’ll need to find it using the Pokétch app’s Marking Map Pokétch feature.
AZELF
Azelf will be waiting for you by Lake Valor.
UXIE
Uxie will be waiting at Lake Acuity, much like Azelf.
GIRATINA
Turnback Cave, a hidden cavern off Route 214, is where Giratina is spending her time. You’ll need to unlock the National Pokédex in order to access Spring Path, a route that can only be accessed once you’ve completed the game.
You’ll have to traverse three rooms with pillars in them before facing Giratina in the cave. You’ll have to start over if you get more than 30 rooms into the game without sighting the three pillars. Before you get to Giratina, you’ll have to dash through a lot of random chambers and encounter a lot of wild Pokémon.
CRESSELIA
On your way out of Canalave, you’ll see Cresselia. Enter Sailor Eldritch’s house and connect with the child who is suffering nightmares. After that, strike up a conversation with the sailor outside, who will tell you how his desire to sail has waned due to his child’s illness. On Fullmoon Island, he’ll beg you for a feather so he can wake up his son. The little island’s epicentre will be Cresselia.
HEATRAN
To go to Heatran, you must complete the Sinnoh Pokédex and then upgrade to the National Pokédex, which is only accessible after finishing the mountain. On the island to the east of the Survival Zone, there is a mountain called Stark Mountain.
REGIGIGAS
You can visit Snowpoint Temple in Snowpoint City after obtaining the National Pokédex. This sleeping Regigigas will awaken if you bring Regirock, Regice and Registeel to it, giving you a chance to catch it.
Ramanas Park is home to the three Regis.
