Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl: Where to Find Dawn Stone
Pokemon games are known for their evolution stones, which are one of the most recognizable but common elements. They’re frequently used on Pokemon like Eevee to transform it into Vaporeon, Flareon, or Jolteon. They aren’t the only ones that have these stones. For example, to develop Pokemon from previous generations, the Dawn Stone, a relatively new item introduced in Generation IV, is required. The Dawn Stone may be found in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Where to find the Dawn Stone in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
In the Generation IV remakes, the Dawn Stone can be found in three places. Their sources are as follows:
Grand Underground
You can enter a newer section of the Grand Underground once you arrive in Snowpoint City. Many of the Pokemon Hideouts will be themed around the ice, so make sure your group is prepared to combat any weaknesses.
Make your way to the bottom-right corner of the map in this area. Enter Whiteout Cave, a secret hideout. Search the area while avoiding the Pokemon (unless you wish to fight them), and you’ll locate the item on the floor. This item, like many others you’ll find in the Grand Underground, cannot be farmed by leaving and returning.
Route 225
Use Rock Climb to scale the cliff near the Route 225 sign just west of the Survival Area. You’ll be up against Geoffrey, a Dragon Tamer. After defeating him, there will be another Dawn Stone just behind him that you can pick up.
Mt. Coronet
The most direct route is to enter the massive mountain from Route 207. To go to the place with the Dawn Stone, you’ll need the HM Surf. Travel southeast from the entrance until you reach a small body of water. Use Surf to get across, and the other Dawn Stone will be on a little area of ground to the right.
You can develop Pokemon like a male Kirlia into Gallade or a female Snorunt into a Froslass once you have the Dawn Stone!
