Magmortar is one of the best Fire-type Pokémon in both Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl (BDSP), thanks to its huge level of, pardon the pun, firepower. So, here’s where you can get a Magmarizer in Pokémon Shining Pearl, as well as how to evolve your Magmar into a Magmortar.
Location of Magmarizer in Pokémon Shining Pearl
First and foremost, players now playing Brilliant Diamond will be disappointed to learn that Magby, Magmar, and the Magmarizer can only be discovered in Shining Pearl. That being said, players of Pokémon Shining Pearl can obtain the Magmarizer by visiting the Grand Underground, notably Volcanic Cave, Typhlo Cavern, or Sandsear Cave. Once you’ve arrived at either location, simply fight until you catch a Magby holding the item.
Just be patient, because encountering the Pokémon with the item in its possession is just a 5% possibility. For obvious reasons, we recommend using Water-type Pokémon to make the catch simpler. It’s also a good idea to use both Ground and Rock Pokémon. By raising your Magby’s level to 30, you can transform it into a Magmar.

You only need to exchange Magmar while they are holding the Magmarizer for the Pokémon to evolve into a Magmortar now that you have both the stone and a Magmar. After the transaction, return the Pokémon to complete the swap and add the Fire-type to your squad. Magby, Magmar, and Magmortar can only be obtained through trading for Brilliant Diamond players.
