The next PlayStation State of Play event, which is effectively a Nintendo Direct, will air today, October 27. This approximately 20-minute presentation will focus on third-party partners’ titles for both PS4 and PS5, and you can watch it live right now.
Here’s how to watch the PlayStation State of Play and when to do it.
How To Watch October 27 State Of Play
The next PlayStation State of Play presentation will air on Wednesday, October 27th at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET. This is very regular for Sony, which, unlike Nintendo, does not usually have demonstrations in the morning.
You can watch the presentation on the official PlayStation Twitch or YouTube feeds, or you can watch it right here.
So, what may be presented at this event? Don’t expect first-party titles like God of War: Ragnarok or Horizon Forbidden West to live up to your expectations.
You shouldn’t expect many brand-new game announcements, either, as Sony has stated that it would primarily focus on previously announced titles.
That may entail a fresh look at titles like Final Fantasy XVI or the upcoming Grand Theft Auto Trilogy.
Third-party partners will, however, make “a few reveals.” It’s unclear what those will be.
