Oxenfree II: Lost Signals – Release Date, Gameplay and More
Night School Studios’ 2016 smash hit Oxenfree has a release date and some new gameplay to show off. The game will be available on PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch on July 12, 2023.
The new teaser gives fans a taste of what they’ve been waiting for since 2016 by showcasing some of the creepy set pieces and elements that will be present in the upcoming side-view platformer.
Riley returns to her hometown of Camena five years after the events of the first game to investigate some weird radio transmissions, but she has more in store for herself than she bargained for. The trailer shows off some of the game’s mechanics, such as climbing ropes and scuttling across cliffs, and takes us through a number of stylized locations and landscapes, including caves, a deserted town, and a lonely bridge.
We watch the heroes navigate rifts, use a boat, and activate radio towers, and we also get a sense of the difficulties they’ll have to overcome. The next section of Riley’s adventure will involve spooky red radio ghosts and burning structures.
After seeing the two protagonists fall off the balcony of a house that seems to be spinning with the landscape around them, the video concludes, leaving viewers eager to see what happens next. This occurs before the movie’s title and premiere date are displayed.
The 2016 PC, PS4, and Xbox One and 2017 iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch game Oxenfree has a sequel called Oxenfree II, developed by Night School Studio.
