An OnlyFans celebrity who makes £100,000 a month has pledged to help low-income families by purchasing homes to rent at inexpensive rates.
Rebecca Goodwin has announced to her fans that she plans to launch a “affordable housing scheme” with the money she has gained from the adult content website.
The Derbyshire woman, age 28, aims to buy eight homes and rent them out to low-income families. She is doing this to help them weather the cost of living problem.
Rebecca took to Twitter earlier this week to announce her ambitions, writing, “The ball is now rolling with my ‘affordable housing scheme’.
“My plan is to buy 8 properties outright and rent them out to low-income families.
“One house I’ll be renting out is a 3 storey, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with off road parking for 2 cars, fully furnished, £650 a month!”
Rebecca says she isn’t starting the scheme to gain money for herself, but rather to benefit low-income families and leave an inheritance to her own two children.
Rebecca’s response to a query regarding whether or not her plans would be profitable was, “I make enough profit on OnlyFans, I have no mortgages so rent payments are 100% profit except maintenance and insurance, this is a side hustle that my kids can inherit.
“I’m not doing it to make me more money I’m doing it [to] invest in my kids futures.”
The single mother, whose two girls are now 11 and 4, were forced to survive on food coupons for nearly a month before she became a creator on OnlyFans.
After deciding to join OnlyFans in April 2019 out of “desperation,” Rebecca explained her decision to the Independent.
At the time, the mother of two was £15,000 in debt and had just received a debt relief order.
She claimed to have made £1,600 from selling her content in just 10 days after signing up for the paid membership site.
She is now able to pay off her debts thanks to her increased income (up to £100,000 a month) and the purchase of a four-bedroom home and a car.
She told the Independent: “I had never earned so much in a month before. Now I’ve been able to buy a house and a Porsche.”
She said that her mother is “all for it” and that her oldest daughter, who is aware of what she does, “doesn’t bother” her.
“They are all very accepting because they saw how in trouble I was,” she said.
