“One-Punch Man – Fast and Furious director ‘Justin Lin’ to Direct Anime Film”

Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, the authors behind Venom and Jumanji: The Next Level, will script the film while Lin directs, according to Deadline. Lin was slated to helm Fast X but dropped out due to creative disputes with star Vin Diesel.
Avi Arad, the producer of previous Spider-Man films, will co-produce with Ari Arad of Arad Productions and Lin. Sony Pictures has purchased the film rights to One-Punch Man from manga publisher Shueisha and hopes to begin production before the end of the year.
