On December 7th, Life is Strange: True Colors will be released on Nintendo Switch
You’ll be able to play Life is Strange: True Colors on your Nintendo Switch very soon, as Square Enix has recently revealed a December 7, 2021 release date.
Life is Strange: True Colors was critically hailed when it was released on September 10th for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC. Many fans were looking forward to a Switch version.
This is the first time the franchise has been released on a Nintendo console. This version has also been expressly created for the occasion, with updated graphics thanks to technical adjustments to each character model, as well as improved lighting, surroundings, and performance.
“WE ARE EXTREMELY EXCITED TO FINALLY BRING THE LIFE IS STRANGE EXPERIENCE TO NINTENDO SWITCH AND ALLOW GAMERS TO TAKE LIFE IS STRANGE: TRUE COLORS EVERYWHERE,” SAID JON BROOKE, CO-HEAD OF STUDIO AT SQUARE ENIX EXTERNAL STUDIOS . “THIS IS THE MOST ADVANCED GAME IN THE FRANCHISE, SO IT WAS IMPORTANT TO MAINTAIN EXCELLENT GRAPHICS, PERFORMANCE AND OPTIMIZATIONS WHEN MOVING THE GAME TO A NEW PLATFORM. WE ARE THRILLED WITH THE OUTCOME OF THE SWITCH VERSION AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING OUR WONDERFUL COMMUNITY GROW WITH THIS NEW RELEASE. “
This is merely a dematerialized version for the time being; if you want the physical form, you’ll have to wait until February 25, 2022.
