The tentpole from MGM and Universal was distributed in 772 theatres, which is 25 more than the previous record holder, “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker,” which was released in 2019. The picture is Universal’s most widely distributed film in the United Kingdom.
Bond’s opening day take is expected to be between $6.2 million and $6.8 million, up 13 percent from 2015’s “Spectre” release on a Monday and 26 percent lower than 2012’s “Skyfall” release on a Friday.
On Wednesday night, about 30,000 people attended midnight screenings. Overall, the film has sold 1.62 million advance tickets in its first four days of release, from Friday to Sunday. This outperforms “Spectre” by over 12% in total advance bookings and performs similarly to “Skyfall” at the same time, albeit during pre-release.

According to figures from the Korean Film Council’s Kobis box office service, the $250-million budgeted film claimed the top place in Korea on Wednesday, grossing $663,000 (KRW785 million) from 104,000 ticket sales (Kofic). This was achieved through 3,937 screening sessions, accounting for 62 percent of the overall box office on Wednesday.
The picture earned another $590,000 on Thursday.
“No Time to Die” was released on September 30 in Brazil, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands, in addition to the United Kingdom. It will debut in 15 additional overseas regions, including France on October 6, Russia on October 7, China on October 29, and Australia on October 29. (Nov. 11).
