New “edit message” function coming to WhatsApp for iOS
As part of its ongoing effort to improve its customers’ experience, instant messaging network WhatsApp just introduced a new function dubbed “edit message.” This functionality will initially only be accessible on iOS and will be made available via an app update in the near future.
WABetaInfo claims that the new functionality would allow iOS users to simply and quickly fix typos in their texts without having to resend the entire conversation.
In addition, it will further improve communication between users since it will give users with a mechanism to guarantee that their communications are clear, error-free and succinct.
The article said that during the first 15 minutes after sending a message, you may go back and make changes; the changed label will appear in the message bubble.
As of this writing, the ability to alter previously sent messages was still in development, and its release date remained unknown.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp has introduced its official chat where users can get the latest updates and learn how to use the app on iOS and Android.
There are helpful hints for navigating the app and learning about upcoming changes in the conversation, which is identified by a green badge.
Users may be certain that the dialogue they are engaging in is genuine thanks to the verified badges that have been added.
