Netflix and developer Tender Claws have announced a brand-new Stranger Things VR game
The new Stranger Things VR game is getting ready to debut next winter, and both Netflix and Tender Claws, the game’s developer, are working on it. In the winter of 2023, key VR platforms will start receiving a brand-new Stranger Things VR game, according to publisher Netflix and developer Tender Claws. Fans of Stranger Things will soon have the opportunity to take on the villain Vecna and exact revenge on Eleven and Hawkins in Stranger Things VR. Fans may have to wait considerably longer to play Vecna because the release timeframe is a little hazy in the winter of 2023.
Fans will have to wait a little while before they can embrace the role of Vecna because of the somewhat ambiguous release timeframe of Winter 2023. It has not been confirmed that Stranger Things VR will be released on PSVR2 or any other platforms, but given that the teaser’s tagline is “a virtual reality headset in your neighborhood,” it is safe to infer that the game will be available on a variety of them. Aside from the official announcement, the release date of winter 2023, and the studios that are hard at work on the game, there hasn’t been much else saying about the game’s gameplay.
Although the main VR platforms are not mentioned specifically, we should know that PSVR 2 will be available in February and that Meta has already begun to tease Quest 3, which will be published later this year. The Quest platforms (Quest 2 and Quest Pro), PSVR 2, SteamVR headsets, and possibly even pico headsets are major VR headsets; however, Tender Claws has not confirmed this. Stranger Things VR is a first-person psychological horror/action game being developed by independent studio Tender Claws for the VR platform. Stranger Things VR, which was made in partnership with Netflix and is a huge hit, lets you check out one of the biggest plot twists from the last season.
Recent news about the hugely popular Stranger Things VR game from Netflix lets you take on the role of Vecna, the primary antagonist from Season 4 of the show. The Upside Down, including the Demogorgon and Demodogs, is featured in the game’s thirty-second trailer by Tender Claws and Netflix. The new teaser, created by game developer Tender Claws, contains a ton of information, including an inside, peek at the upside-down realities, which are home to recognizable Stranger Things characters like Demogorgons and Demodogs. As the date of release approaches, additional news is anticipated to follow the announcement.
