NBA: Orlando Magic vs Detroit Pistons Injury Report, Predicted Lineups and Starting fives

On Saturday, the Orlando Magic will take on the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena. Both clubs have had a slow start to the season and will be looking for a win in this game in Detroit.

The Magic are coming off a close loss to the Toronto Raptors in their previous matchup. Jalen Suggs and Cole Anthony combined for 45 points. However, their efforts were insufficient to defeat the Raptors.

Despite a strong fourth-quarter performance, the Magic were defeated 110-109 on the night. They’ll try to put the disappointment of that loss behind them and attack the Pistons with all guns blazing on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons have lost all four games they’ve played this season. Their most recent match was a 110-102 loss against the Philadelphia 76ers. When they meet the Orlando Magic at home, they will be motivated to get their first win of the season.

Injury Update for the Orlando Magic

For this game, the Orlando Magic has a number of players mentioned. The Pistons will be without Michael Carter-Williams, Markelle Fultz, Jonathan Isaac, and E’Twaun Moore for this game. Due to a right hip injury, Chuma Okeke is categorized as likely.

Injury Report for the Detroit Pistons

Due to a right oblique injury, the Detroit Pistons have designated Jerami Grant as questionable for this game. The lone Pistons player who will miss this game is Isaiah Livers. Meanwhile, Chris Smith will be unavailable for the Pistons due to G-League obligations.

    Orlando Magic

Jalen Suggs and Cole Anthony will most likely start in the backcourt for the Orlando Magic. Both players have been outstanding this season and will be looking to put up big numbers against the Pistons.

In the frontcourt, Franz Wagner and Wendell Carter Jr. are expected to start. Mo Bamba has been a standout for the Magic this season, and he should start at center for them again on Saturday.

    Detroit Pistons

Cade Cunningham, the team’s first-round pick, is not included on the injury report, which means he might start in the backcourt alongside Saddiq Bey against the Magic. Kelly Olynyk and Josh Jackson could start in the frontcourt with Jerami Grant labeled as questionable. On Saturday, Isaiah Stewart is expected to start at the center for the Pistons.
