NBA: New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers Injury Report, Predicted Lineups and Starting 5s
The New York Knicks, who lost their previous game to the Toronto Raptors, are looking to rebound against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
When the Knicks visit the Pacers’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse arena in Indianapolis, Indiana, they hope to bring a more determined defensive effort. While Tom Thibodeau’s team has shown no signs of slowing down offensively, their defense has cost them games.
In the New York Knicks’ preparation against a squad that constantly competes from start to finish, the defense has undoubtedly dominated the conversation. The Knicks have a Defensive Rating of 22nd in the league and allow 15.1 fastbreak points, which is 25th in the league. To improve as a team, they must put in the necessary effort on defense.
Meanwhile, in a win over the San Antonio Spurs, the undermanned Indiana Pacers scored 131 points, their highest total this season. On both sides of the ball, Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner have been the team’s heavy hitters. To survive a possible New York Knicks attack, they’ll need improved performances from the rest of the team.
Caris LeVert has recently returned from injury, and Malcolm Brogdon, if cleared to participate, may as well. The Indiana Pacers’ backcourt is suddenly looking deep and scary, thanks to rookie Chris Duarte’s strong play.
It’ll be an entertaining game between two Eastern Conference foes.
Injury Report for the New York Knicks

Luka Samanic will not travel with the club because he has been assigned to the G-League.
