Brooklyn Nets Preview
Throughout the regular season, the Brooklyn Nets did not exhibit enough consistency. Despite their sporadic performances, they were widely regarded as the favorites in their first-round clash against the Boston Celtics. In the first game, Kyrie Irving was in fine form, but Kevin Durant’s underwhelming performance appeared to be one of the main reasons for the Nets’ loss. The Celtics did a good job of defending Durant in Game 1, but he’ll be ready to respond in Game 2.
Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, Patty Mills, and Goran Dragic make up the Nets’ supporting cast. These are all seasoned players who will have to bear some of Durant’s and Irving’s responsibilities if they are called upon again. Another loss for the Nets would put them in a tough spot to recover in this series. They do, however, have a seasoned team with players who are capable of giving it they’re all on crucial occasions like this.
