Multiple people Shot and several Bombs Found at Sunset Park NYC Subway Station
According to authorities, multiple persons were shot in a New York City subway station during rush hour on Tuesday.
One person was killed and at least 13 others were injured in the chaos that broke out at a NYC subway station, the New York City Fire Department reported, though it was not immediately apparent how many people were shot.
Law enforcement officials tell a guy was seen dropping a device into a subway station before he opened fire.
At least five persons were shot by a man wearing a gas mask and standing roughly 5 feet 5 inches tall and 180 pounds, according to police sources.
According to the accounts, some of the injured passengers were able to flee by getting on a train.
There were “emergency vehicles and delays in the surrounding area,” according to a statement from the NYPD, so commuters were advised to avoid 36th Street and Fourth Avenue.
