Ms. Marvel episode 4 ending explained
Kamala and her mother are shown at the beginning of this week’s Ms. Marvel episode as they board a flight for Karachi, Pakistan. When they get there, Kamala’s grandmother greets them and takes them all home. When she arrives at her grandmother’s house, Kamala finds a room decorated with her Nani’s artwork and settles in. While the teenager questions her about the bangle, she briefly describes Aisha to her granddaughter. Kamala’s grandmother now declares that she is a Djinn. She continues by describing how these skills prevented her from losing her father during the Partition when they became separated during train travel.
Kamala had multiple dreams throughout her sleep about the train and her most recent conflict with the Clandestines. She awakens to her cousins taking her and her mother to visit other family members and explore well-known areas of Karachi. The adolescent now declares that she wants to independently explore the former train station.
As soon as she arrives at the railway station, Kamala dons a mask and explores the area alone. A masked person suddenly strikes Kamala after thinking she is one of the Clandestines. He then observes the bracelet and queries Kamala about how she acquired it from Aisha. They quickly make amends, and he invites the adolescent to accompany him for additional details.
The man in the mask leads Kamala to a covert base of operations and identifies himself as Kareem, a member of the Red Daggers, an organization run by Waleed. Then, using the same energy found in the bangle, he explains to the adolescent how Aisha and the Clandestines originate from another dimension that has been divided by a veil of Noor. He continues by saying that the Clandestines will use that item of jewelry to rip apart the curtain and make their dimension accessible, destroying our reality in the process.
Waleed takes note of the writing on Kamala’s bracelet. He informs her that what she is looking for is also looking for her. Kamran and the other Clandestines escape from the Damage Control facility detaining them in a different region of the world. After escaping, Kamran’s mother abandons him because she sided with Kamala during the events of the previous episode. They will now go for the teen to steal her bracelet. Kareem brings Kamala to meet his pals at a bonfire back in Karachi. After years of separation, Kamala’s mother and grandmother reunite while she is gone.
The next day, Kamala is back with the Red Daggers and beginning to get training from Waleed. The Clandestines arrive to seize the bracelet as this is going on. As the powered people pursue them, Waleed and Kareem take Kamala away. As Waleed breaks away from the two to stall his adversaries, a chase breaks out on Karachi’s highways. In the meantime, the Clandestines broke off to pursue the duo.
Najma is able to kill Waleed despite the mayhem. Kareem and Kamala enter the old building through the opening Waleed provided, only to find themselves trapped within. The two fight against Najma’s goons, with Kareem taking down a number of them. Najma stabs Kamala’s bracelet with a knife out of desperation, setting off a dazzling light. After regaining consciousness, Kamala discovers herself in the center of an active train station. She seems to have been moved during the Partition.
