How you back up your progress in MLB The Show 23 will change according on the game mode you’re in. For instance, Autosave is an option in all game modes, but if you’re playing Diamond Dynasty, you’ll quickly learn that it saves your game at regular intervals. That’s because in order to play Diamond Dynasty, a user must be connected to the internet. You’ll need one in order to play it.

While chapters in the story will autosave as you go, you may want to save regularly if you’re playing Franchise or even Road to the Show. To accomplish this, go to the menu labeled “Settings” in the menu bar’s upper-right corner. A Save Type option will appear once you select File Management > Save from the main menu.
Recent modifications that need to be saved will have a check mark next to them; in this case, Franchise.
