Players may use the MLB The Show Companion App to enable face scanning in MLB The Show 23, the first year that The Show has been compatible with face-scanning technology. You may get it through the Google Play or Apple Store. You may either download the Companion App from the Google Play or Apple App Stores, or you can scan the QR code to be transported directly to the official MLB The Show website.

- Get the MLB The Show Mobile Companion App for your iPhone or Android device.
- Connect the app to your gaming system by signing in.
- Find the Face Scan option by clicking the “23” icon.
- Capture a photo and post it.
For iOS users, good news! The Companion App has been released as of March 30th, Thursday night.
Take a good selfie, then once you’ve linked your account to the Companion App, submit it to the game. But have no dread! You don’t have to use Face Scan right away in Road to the Show; you can always decide to use it later if you change your mind.
You may access the Player Menu in RttS at any time by clicking the button in the upper left of the screen. If you go to Settings and then Appearance, you’ll see the Face Scan panel again. When you select Face Scan from the menu at the very bottom of the screen, you’ll be requested to use the Companion App to submit a photo. So long! After that, feel free to tweak your player any further.
