“Masaaki Yuasa’s Inu-Oh – Anime Film Gets Musical Trailer”
GKIDS has released a stunning new teaser for Masaaki Yuasa’s upcoming film Inu-Oh, which shows off even more of the story of the eponymous Inu-Oh

Characters developed by manga creator Taiyo Matsumoto (Tekkonkinkreet) will appear in the film, which will be animated by Science SARU Inc. in partnership with Asmik Ace, Inc. The film will debut in Japanese theatres on May 28, 2022, before releasing in the United States on August 12, 2022.
Masaaki Yuasa’s Inu-Oh: Synopsis
“Born into a prestigious family, Inu-oh is plagued by an ancient curse that has cast him out of society,” according to the official narrative. “Inu-oh develops a compelling aptitude to dance when he encounters the blind musician Tomona, a young biwa priest plagued by his past. As audiences flock to their electrifying, larger-than-life concerts, the two rapidly become business partners and inseparable friends. When people in power threaten to disband the band, Inu-oh and Tomona must dance and sing to reveal the truth about their artistic abilities.
