“Marvel’s Werewolf by Night – Michael Giacchino Will Direct Disney+ special Film”
We still don’t know much about Marvel Studios’ impending Disney+ special Werewolf by Night, which is still in the works. However, composer Michael Giacchino recently announced that he will direct the Halloween special and provided an update on its current development.
“I’ve been having a great time. It’s an extremely difficult process. “I adore it,” Giacchino told ComicBook in an interview. “I’ve been having a lot of fun working on it every day, and we’re right in the heart of it.” Hopefully, we’ll be able to talk a lot more about it very soon. Yeah. There’s not much I can say other that I’m having a nice time and working on something I enjoy. So that’s a win-win situation.”
It has long been speculated that Giacchino was working on the project, but no one had confirmed it until recently. Giacchino is well known as a composer who has worked on the music of numerous films, including the hit television series Lost, 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, and In 2022, there will be a slew of films, including The Batman, Jurassic World Dominion, Lightyear, and Thor: Love and Thunder.
Werewolf by Night: Cast
There isn’t much known about the Halloween special right now, but there have been whispers that Mahershala Ali’s Blade — who featured in Marvel’s Eternals in a voice-only capacity — will make his on-screen debut in the special. Other speculations say that Elsa Bloodstone, a monster hunter in the Marvel Comics universe, will also feature in the special.
Werewolf by Night is a moniker used by two different Marvel characters. The first, created by Gerry Conway, Mike Ploog, Roy Thomas, and Jeanie Thomas, was Jack Russell, a descendent of the Lycanthropes, shapeshifting half-human monsters capable of morphing at will even in the absence of a full moon.
Gomez is a Native American whose tribe possesses a lycanthropic curse. Taboo, Benjamin Jackendoff, and Scot Eaton invented the character of Gomez. It is unknown whether either character will appear in the next special.
