” Marvel Cinematic Universe -‘Taron Egerton’in talk with Kevin Feige to Play Wolverine
Since quite some time, fans have been wondering who will play Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Actor Taron Egerton is now entering the competition.
If given the chance, Egerton told ComicBook.com that he would “love to” portray Wolverine, and in a recent interview with The New York Times, the actor stated that he had only recently spoken with Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios.
Naturally, when it came time to discuss the part, Egerton was circumspect, stating only that he would be anxious about replacing Hugh Jackman’s illustrious performance as the comic book character.
Regarding his desire to take on the job, Egerton remarked, “I don’t believe it would be incorrect to say that. Hugh is so closely identified with the part that I’d question if it would be really tough for someone else to take it on. I’d be thrilled but also nervous. But I’m hoping they’ll give me a chance if it works.
