Margot Robbie’s New Movie ‘Babylon’ Is Major Flop everywhere

The most recent movie starring Margot Robbie failed miserably at the box office, becoming the second such failure of the year. both featured a large cast of famous actors.

Of course, we are referring to the new movie “Babylon,” which opened over the holiday weekend… It barely brought in $3.5 million by Sunday; on Monday, they hope to get an estimated $5.3 million. However, this is not a reliable survey.

The film, which is set in the Golden Age of Hollywood and explores the advent of “talkies,” boasts an impressive cast list. The film starred Margot and a slew of other A-listers, like Brad Pitt, Tobey Maguire, Olivia Wilde, Chloe Fineman, Eric Roberts, Body, Max Minnelli, etc.

Aside from that, the Oscar-winning filmmaker is Damien Chazelle. the film’s poor performance at the box office during the holiday season is puzzling given its massive $80 million budget (and extensive marketing). Negative and positive reviews undoubtedly hurt sales.

It’s interesting to note that earlier this fall, Margot was a part of another film with similar themes and a similarly star-studded cast (Christian Bale, Robert De Niro, rami malek, Taylor Swift, etc.) called “Amsterdam.” was also premiered in theatres at the same time.

After spending $80 million to produce, it grossed only $6.4 million on its opening weekend in October and approximately $16 million or so in total domestic receipts.

Not only have movies been successful at the box office this year, but Margot has also had a terrible year. Sadly, she also let slip that the ‘Pirates’ film she was attached to was axed by Disney, despite the denials of one of the franchise’s producers.

In 2023, though, she has a lot up her sleeve: MR is set to star in both “Barbie” and the widely anticipated Wes Anderson film “Asteroid City,” and “Ocean’s Eleven” will also have its own prequel.
