Madonna lies across desk, flashes audience on ‘Tonight Show’
Jimmy Fallon did his best to mask the 63-year-old singer’s rear end.
She’s just trying to express herself.
Madonna wreaked havoc on “The Tonight Show” Thursday, crawling across host Jimmy Fallon’s desk and flashing her tush to the audience.
The “Material Girl” singer, 63, appeared on the late-night show to promote her new documentary, “Madame X,” and began the interview by emphasising that “art is important in our lives.”
“Artists are here to disturb the peace,” Madonna said, quoting writer James Baldwin, before adding, “And so, I hope that I have disturbed not only your peace this afternoon, but people’s peace while watching the show, but I mean that in the best way.”
“Oh yeah, you get in good trouble.” Fallon, 47, replied.
“Good trouble,” said Madonna, who had a grill in her mouth, before Fallon added, “Yeah, you really do.”
That’s when the Queen of Pop lunged forward and climbed sensuously onto the comedian’s desk, pushing his coffee mug aside to show off her figure.
Fallon immediately freaked out, laughing and yelling, “Stop it!” as he tried in vain to cover up Madonna with his suit jacket.
“No one’s going to see anything, my God!” exclaimed the “Vogue” songstress before retreating.
Madonna turned around to lift her skirt and reveal her black underwear to the studio audience as a final stunt.
When the Grammy winner and Fallon returned to their seats, he appeared especially frazzled, and she told him, Life is not just about interviewing kiddies. Don’t you want to talk to an adult? Let’s have an adult conversation.”
When Fallon asked if she was speaking to an adult, she laughed and said, “I’m not sure.”
Madonna jumped right in, telling Fallon that she thought he was in “some sort of conflict” and asking if he’d seen a therapist.
She also joked about liking opioids before Fallon changed the subject to play a preview of her new film, which will be released on Paramount+ on Friday.
