“Madame Web – ‘Emma Roberts’ Joins the Cast of Sony’s Marvel Film”
Roberts will join a group that currently includes Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isbalea Merced, and Tahar Rahim as well as many other A-list actors. The future movie will be directed by S.J. Clarkson, and Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless wrote the story. It’s unclear what role Roberts will play right now, and Sony hasn’t made any public statements about the choice.
Although she is slated to star in the next movie Abandoned, Roberts’ most recent film roles were in the 2020 films The Hunt and Holidate. Roberts’ involvement with the American Horror Story franchise, which began with American Horror Story: Coven, is what made her most famous.
Dakota Johnson will play the main Spider-Man character in Sony’s Madame Web. Along with Tahar Rahim, who is vying for a Golden Globe, Johnson is joined by young actors Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria), Celeste O’Connor (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), and Isabela Merced (Transformers: The Last Knight).
