Logan Paul Originals NFT lets buyers join him in the next fight
Logan Paul is offering another of his Originals NFT projects, and if you pay the money, you’ll be able to participate in his next fight. You won’t, however, be his next opponent. Logan Paul, like his brother Jake, has been instrumental in raising the bar for influencers involved in boxing. He was in the first professional bout, which he lost to KSI, and he’s even fought Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather twice. His passion for NFTs and collectibles has also played a part in his fights, as he took a holographic Charizard card to the ring for his match with Floyd in 1998, and did so again at Wrestlemania.
Logan has been out of the ring since that big-time exhibition with Floyd, and he’s been planning to return, while also selling NFTs as part of his ‘Originals’ collection – and now his two passions are colliding once more. Logan revealed on June 10 that the 16th portion of his 99 Originals NFTs — a photograph of his fractured hand taken inside the hospital – would be available for purchase. The final bidder will not only have their hands on the NFT, but they will also get to walk with Logan to the ring for his next battle and choose the colors for his trunks and combat robe.
So, while they won’t be paying to fight Logan, the winner of the auction will have a significant part in his next battle — whenever that may be. There have been rumors that Logan will fight in August — on his own show, separate from his brother Jake – against an opponent who has yet to be disclosed. The social media sensation hasn’t verified the claims just yet, but with so much buzz surrounding it, as well as the NFT’s incentives, a return to the ring can’t be far away.
