Koo App is now available in Brazil with the addition of the Portuguese language
The indigenous microblogging platform Koo App announced on Monday that it is now available in Brazil with the addition of the Portuguese language. This brings the total number of native languages it is currently available in up to 11. According to a statement released by the company, within the first 48 hours after its launch, the platform had a great response from users in Brazil, with over one million user downloads.
“We are very happy to see the kind of love and support Brazil has shown us. It’s great to be the top app in both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in Brazil within 48 hours of being known in the country,” said Aprameya Radhakrishna, CEO, and Co-founder, of Koo.
Koo App has attracted a number of well-known Brazilian celebrities, such as the actress Claudia Leitte, the actor Babu Santana, the author Rosana Hermann, and the news portal Choquei. After only two days on the platform, celebrity Felipe Neto quickly rose to the top of the follower rankings, passing the threshold of 450 000 followers.

Over the past few days, Koo has held the number one position on the charts of both the Android Play Store and the Apple App Store. Only users in Brazil contributed 2 million koos and 10 million likes to the platform during the first 48 hours of its availability. Koo has been downloaded more than 50 million times and is currently being used by more than 7,500 eminent persons from all walks of life.
