Kanye West has made Donald Trump very angry, Know why?
Trump went on an angry rant, accusing Kanye West of trying to “f-k him over” by inviting white nationalist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes to dinner at Mar-a-Lago.
The former president was “totally blindsided” by Fuentes’ presence at the meal, which was described as a “total setup” by NBC News.
Trump allegedly said, “He tried to f- me. He’s crazy. He can’t beat me,” in an apparent reference to West’s expected presidential run in 2024.
An unlucky run-in occurred at the 45th president’s Palm Beach, Florida property two days before Thanksgiving, exactly one week after Trump declared his third straight run for president.
The scandal over West’s anti-Semitic remarks cost him lucrative sponsorship deals with Adidas and Balenciaga, and Trump’s advisors advised him against meeting with West. The former president, however, ignored all of their suggestions.
Trump and West were reportedly supposed to have a private discussion in the club’s library, but Trump, eager to impress his paying club members by entertaining a celebrity guest, instead held court on the main patio eating area.
Provocateur for the alt-right and current West campaign worker Milo Yiannopoulos told NBC that he planned the dinner “just to make Trump’s life miserable.”
“I wanted to show Trump the kind of talent that he’s missing out on by allowing his terrible handlers to dictate who he can and can’t hang out with,’ Yiannopoulos explained.
“I also wanted to send a message to Trump that he has systematically repeatedly neglected, ignored, abused the people who love him the most, the people who put him in office, and that kind of behavior comes back to bite you in the end.”
Former Trump campaign worker Karen Giorno claimed at the meeting that she didn’t know who Fuentes was until it was too late. NBC claims she thought, “I’m going to kill Milo,” at the time.
Giorno alleged that she lured West’s other companion, a woman named Fuentes, to the bar area so that Trump could have a quiet dinner with the rapper.
