Kanye Posts ‘Skete Davidson Dead’ as break-up rumors of Kim and Pete are reported
Ye appears to have replied to rumours that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have broken up their well-known romance with a photoshopped front-page New York Times piece.
The title “SKETE DAVIDSON DEAD AT AGE 28,” which is a reference to Ye’s once-ubiquitous nickname for Pete, may be seen in the edited image below.
Kid Cudi’s recent Rolling Loud Miami set was also addressed in the since-deleted Instagram image, albeit in smaller font. According to earlier reports, Cudi had replaced Ye on the schedule after the latter stepped out due to “circumstances outside of our control,” which the festival organisers had previously stated.
The caption reads, “Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers,”
Skete Davidson’s public battle against Pete, who appears in Bodies Bodies Bodies at A24, might be considered as an end to the Skete Davidson era in this case, but this could also be seen as a continuation in Ye’s public campaign against him. That is to say, it is possible that the mock Times front-page image is meant to signify the end of the term and its associated aspects (such as an animated Skete head, for example).
The fact that Ye has been relatively inactive on social media recently (at least directly) should be noted. Meanwhile, rumours about Donda 2, a work-in-progress game that was first launched via Stem Player back in February, have persisted.
Rumors about Kim and Pete’s reported breakup surfaced on Friday from a variety of outlets. Pete, on the other hand, is likely to appear in the upcoming second season of Hulu’s The Kardashians, which is more or less a 2022 revamp of the family’s former reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
