Kaalan Walker ‘Superfly’ actor and rapper found guilty of many rapes and sentenced 50 years prison
On Monday, a Los Angeles rapper was given a life term in prison after being found guilty at trial of multiple rapes.
As reported by the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office, 27-year-old Kaalan Walker was found guilty on four charges of rape in April, including three acts of forced rape, two counts of statutory rape, and two counts of rape while intoxicated.
Walker was arrested and released on bond in 2018, but was ordered imprisoned following his sentencing, as reported by City News Service.
Police said the victims were models who claimed the rapper contacted them on social media and offered to help them with their careers.
According to City News Service, Walker would inform his victims that he was going to introduce them to a prominent person or that there was a music video shoot in the area.
His victims informed police that when he was alone with them, he sexually abused them.
KR was a rapper who published an EP in 2017 and appeared in movies like “Superfly.” (2017), which starred Daniel Craig and Halle Berry, and “Kings,” (2018), in which he played a gang member.
