Juventus advanced from Group H with a 4-1 victory over Zenit at home. The hosts took the lead through Paulo Dybala, but a shocking own goal by Leonardo Bonucci leveled the score at halftime. Just before the hour, Juve got a penalty, but Dybala missed the target — the referee requested a retake, and the Argentinian scored this time.

Juventus’ late goals came from Federico Chiesa and lvaro Morata, before the Russian team got a late consolation goal from Sardar Azmoun. On November 23, Juventus will face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in a game that will likely determine who will finish first in the group.

Lille rallied back to stun Sevilla with a 2-1 away win in Group G, putting the Spanish side at risk of being eliminated early. After 15 minutes, Lucas Ocampos put the hosts ahead on the rebound, but the French champions leveled with a VAR-awarded penalty by Jonathan David shortly before halftime.

Lille remained on top in the second half and was rewarded when Jonathan Ikoné scored the game-winning goal. After Zeki Celik’s shot rebounded against the far post, the forward was the first to respond. Wolfsburg had earlier defeated Red Bull Salzburg 2-1 to keep Group G very much in play with two games remaining.

Villarreal beat Young Boys 2-0 at home in Group F, defying speculation linking Unai Emery with Newcastle’s vacant management position. The goals came from Étienne Capoue and Arnaut Danjuma, as the hosts enhanced their chances of progressing to the knockout stages by drawing level with Manchester United at the top of the group.
