Joe Rogan criticises The Rock’s unnatural physique
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been criticised by comedian Joe Rogan for not having a “natural” body.
Derek, host of the fitness channel More Plates More Dates, was a guest on an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. The two had a lengthy discussion on bodybuilding, during which they made a distinction between natural and non-natural bodybuilders and industry influencers.
Those who call themselves “natural” bodybuilders have not utilised any anabolic steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs. Rogan discussed a “eye test” to identify phonies:
“It’s so funny, the eye test, when you look at someone — You go like, ‘That’s possible.’ Like when I look at Paul Sklar, that’s possible. When you look at The Rock, you’re like, ‘Get the f**k out of here.'”
Joe Rogan thinks that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has used performance-enhancing drugs to get in such great shape. The UFC commentator sees no harm in using performance-enhancing drugs. He finds it particularly annoying when they lie or deny using PEDs.
Rogan has never been secretive about his own use of performance-enhancing drugs. Quite reasonably in my opinion, he holds celebrities like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson responsible for raising unattainable expectations among young people.
After Joe Rogan made a remark regarding Conor McGregor’s body, he and McGregor engaged in a heated exchange.
After breaking his leg in UFC 264’s rematch with Dustin Poirier, “The Notorious” has bulked up considerably.
The Irishman’s massive weight gain has led many fans and commentators to speculate that he may have used performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) throughout his rehabilitation. Take it from Rogan’s podcast:
“He’s taking his shirt off and posing constantly, and he looks like his piss would melt that USADA cup. Like, it would just like burn a hole right through the bottom of that USADA cup.”
