No Hard Feelings, a comedy starring Jennifer Lawrence, has set July 16, 2023, as its release date. It bills itself as “an R-rated comedy with heart” and is directed by Gene Stupnitsky, who also wrote and produced The Office. Stupnitsky will collaborate on the script with John Phillips (Dirty Grandpa). Studios and streaming services submitted bids for the rights to the movie, which were up for grabs. Hollywood execs were definitely interested in the comedy since Jennifer Lawrence was the star, and they wanted to see the movie for themselves. As Deadline reported last year, Sony Pictures decided to release the movie. It will be produced by Alex Saks, Marc Provissiero, Naomi Odenkirk, Lawrence, and Justine Polsky. Stupnitsky and Phillips have seen explicit films before. The 2016 film Dirty Grandpa, starring Robert De Niro and Zac Efron, was written by Phillips.
