In an interview with journalist Danielle Pergament for the cover of Allure magazine, Aniston said that she had “gone through really hard sht” in her late 30s and 40s, but it made her the person she is today. “That’s why I have such gratitude for all those shtty things. Otherwise, I would’ve been stuck being this person that was so fearful, so nervous, so unsure of who they were,” she said. “And now, I don’t f**king care.”
Aniston continued by saying that she was referring to the time she was actively trying to conceive.
“All the years and years and years of speculation… It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it Aniston admitted.
I wish someone had have told me, “Freeze your eggs.'” You should really help yourself out here. What I mean is that you don’t even consider it. To that end, I have finally arrived here today. Those days are long gone.
But Aniston said she’s relieved there’s an end to the drama.
“I have zero regrets,” she stated. “I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.’ I don’t have to think about that anymore.”
Partway through the conversation, Aniston addressed rumours that she and Justin Theroux split up in 2018 because she “wouldn’t give him a kid.”
They were “It was absolute lies,” she asserted. “I don’t have anything to hide at this point.”
Pergament probed Aniston on the likelihood of future wedding.
“Never say never, but I don’t have any interest,” she answered. “I’d love a relationship. Who knows? There are moments I want to just crawl up in a ball and say, ‘I need support.’ It would be wonderful to come home and fall into somebody’s arms and say, ‘That was a tough day.’”
She also admitted that she hates social media and that the only reason she joined Instagram was to promote her LolaVie haircare product.
“I hate social media. I’m not good at it,”. She claimed she was terrible at Instagram despite the fact that the site had crashed from the sheer number of people trying to follow her.
“It’s torture for me. The reason I went on Instagram was to launch this line,” she explained. “Then the pandemic hit and we didn’t launch. So I was just stuck with being on Instagram. It doesn’t come naturally.”
