Italian soccer club AC Milan Launches NFT Game With MonkeyLeague
The MonkeyLeague, an AAA-quality, web3 football competition based on the Solana blockchain, has joined the Rossoneri as their NFT Gaming Accomplice, and AC Milan couldn’t be happier. MonkeyLeague is a strategy-based football competition in which users build and manage fantasy teams composed of a minimum of six MonkeyPlayer NFTs (including a striker, midfielder, defender, and goalkeeper) to take on real players and rise up the league standings. There is an in-game currency called MonkeyBucks ($MBS) and other valuable in-game items that contribute to the game’s economy.
Among the many exciting initiatives in the new comprehensive, crucial, and strategic partnership between MonkeyLeague and AC Milan is the creation of an elite, Rossoneri-marked NFT game resources, wearables, unique game tournaments, co-showcasing events, and club player playtesting. A fresh batch of branded AC Milan NFT game resources, including new MonkeyPlayers, skins, and arenas, will be distributed as part of the agreement, with MonkeyLeague working closely with the Italian bosses to make this happen. On MagicEden, the first, more discerning batch of NFTs will be released to the highest bidders on October 6. Some of the AC Milan MonkeyPlayers for sale, which is very popular, will come with official club pullovers.
In addition, MonkeyLeague will launch its core MonkeyPlayer NFT breeding season in collaboration with AC Milan, where AC Milan-branded resources will emerge at random from the breeding system. NFTs for game arenas and plots of land will also be made available. MonkeyLeague’s primary mission is to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3; this organization represents a significant new stage in that growth. The new partnership with MonkeyLeague is an integral part of AC Milan’s Web 3.0 strategy, which sees the club partnering with professionals to create extraordinary digital experiences for its fans in order to give them more access, more ownership, and significantly bring them closer to their beloved club.
Casper Stylsvig, Boss Income Official of AC Milan, remarked: “We are excited to start off this organization with MonkeyLeague, cooperation that permits us to reinforce our position in the field of computerized development. We are especially pleased to be the principal football club to join forces with MonkeyLeague, carrying this game to our allies all over the planet and offering them another creative method for drawing in with their number one group. “
“Cooperating with champions like AC Milan, a flat-out legendary club over football’s time, is yet another evidence of what we are doing and where we are going as an everlasting game company,” said Oren Langberg, Head of Promoting and Organizations at MonkeyLeague. It also covers an important step in our plans to bridge the gap between the Web2 and Web3 eras.
This partnership will also see AC Milan sponsor a number of upcoming high-profile MonkeyLeague esports competitions. These events will bring together the best players in the game from all over the world to compete in highly contentious matches, with the winners taking home a slew of curated prizes. At the same time, there will be a lot of improvements, and the prizes will include things like marked AC Milan shirts and tickets to some of the biggest games at Milan’s great San Siro arena. Some of AC Milan’s best players will help make the final product better by playtesting it and offering feedback and guidance to make sure the game’s ongoing interaction is as realistic and engaging as possible.
