In August, China’s industrial profit growth slowed for the sixth consecutive month
Last month, profits increased by 10.1 percent year on year to 680.3 billion yuan, compared to a 16.4 percent increase in July.
As manufacturers battled high commodity prices, Covid-19 outbreaks, and shortages of some critical components, profits at China’s industrial enterprises expanded at a slower pace in August than a year ago, slowing for the sixth month in a row.
