In AppleTV+’s ‘The Last Thing He Told Me’ Julia Roberts is replaced by Jennifer Garner
Reports from Deadline claim that Jennifer Garner will replace Julia Roberts as star and executive producer of The Last Thing He Told Me, a new limited series for AppleTV+.
Reese Witherspoon will produce the series, which is based on Laura Dave’s New York Times No. 1 bestseller. A scheduling conflict has forced Roberts to withdraw from the series, and Garner will take his place. In addition to this, Garner will star in an adaptation of Amy Silverstein’s memoir My Glory Was I Had Such Friends, which will air on AppleTV+.
Filmmaker Laura Dave and Oscar-winning screenwriter Josh Singer co-created The Last Thing He Told Me. Her 16-year-old stepdaughter and her husband’s mysterious disappearance are the main focus of this storey.
“could not be more excited” Garner said in an Instagram story shortly after the news was confirmed. Afterward, Garner thanked Reese Witherspoon and tagged several of the show’s writers and creators, saying, “I absolutely could not be more grateful,”
