HYUNA AND DAWN have Confirmed their Break Up

HyunA and DAWN called it quits after dating for six years and being engaged.

The ex-4Minute member broke the news on Instagram. “We broke up. We’ve decided to be good friends and coworkers. Thank you all for being supportive of our relationship,” 

In August of 2018, the pair went public with their romance, making them one of the few openly dating couples in the K-pop industry. HyunA and DAWN began dating in May of 2016 and made the happy announcement in February of this year.

HyunA and DAWN, who are both members to PSY’s label P NATION, dropped their first collaborative album in September of 2021. The album had four songs, including the smash hit “PING PONG,” and was titled 1+1=1. The finest aspect is that none of us knows anyone else as well as we do. HyunA has an eerily accurate understanding of who I am, at times surpassing my own knowledge of myself. DAWN then said  “we know each other’s strengths so we can trust each other to give out our best.”
