How Xbox Players can play Resident Evil 4 Remake
Now Xbox Players can play Resident Evil 4 Remake before its official release.
Change your Xbox’s region to New Zealand and start playing Resident Evil 4 today, a full week before the game’s official release on Friday.
Now that it’s March 24 in New Zealand, players there can finally get their hands on Capcom’s remaster, and anybody may play along from anywhere else by using the widely known time zone gimmick.
Log in to your Xbox account.
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Settings > All Settings > System > Language & location.
Select your new location from the drop-down menu labelled Location, and then click Restart now.
Many customers have claimed that their pre-ordered copies of Resident Evil 4 have functioned after switching to the New Zealand area, despite Microsoft’s warning that not all material will be portable between regions.

The dedication of the Capcom development team to accuracy is a reflection of the lasting brilliance of Shinji Mikami’s original masterwork, which is still great and now feels totally current owing to some minor but brilliant changes.
Capcom’s game feels like a more safe adaptation compared to Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake, so players should temper their expectations accordingly. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though, when the original game holds up this well after all these years.
