How to Unlock The Tower of Babil in FFXIV
The Tower of Babil is the second of several dungeons that players must complete in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker to proceed in the plot. The tower overlooks the ruins of a Garlean royal palace built by Fandaniel and Zenos’ entranced minions. In FFXIV: Endwalker, players must infiltrate the Telophoroi troops. Thus, the Tower of Babil is unlocked as part of the MSQ, eliminating the need to find an optional side questline.
To access the Tower of Babil in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, players must first finish the Garlemald quest “In from the Cold.” The main quest “Gateway of the Gods” also unlocks the tower. To accept this Level 83 task, speak to Lucia at X:14.0, Y:29.5.
To begin the Tower of Babil Dungeon, FFXIV players must first speak with Lyse and Pipin. Players can also use Shadowbringer’s Trust System to enter MSQ Dungeons with a party of allied NPCs. FFXIV players can form a group and enter the Tower of Babil by talking with NPCs near the Dungeon’s entrance.
How To Beat The Tower Of Babil In FFXIV
The adversaries in the tower will be difficult, so planning your Item Level gear, consumables, and job action arrangement ahead of time is critical. Following the minor mobs in the first section, FFXIV players will meet Barnabas, the Tower of Babil’s first boss. Aware of Barnabas’ “polarity” abilities will help fight him. He can drag and pull FFXIV party members while delivering massive AoE assaults. When Barnabas hits a single player, the rest of the squad must swarm around him to evenly distribute the damage. Defeating Barnabas requires a good arena location.
Lugae, the Tower of Babil’s second boss, with explosive AoE attacks and summoning powers. Fortunately, his tactics are predictable, but players must keep their attention when they are converted into frogs.
Dungeon’s boss is Anima, an elder primal from Final Fantasy XIV. Anima’s boss battle features two phases, and players must always be aware of which boss attack is coming and where they should place themselves in the arena. Anima also has certain abilities that can almost wipe the party, so be prepared with shields and healing spells.
