How to setup eSim on iPhone 14

How to setup eSim on iPhone 14

Apple has supported eSIM since the iPhone Xs and XR, but this year the company is taking a huge risk by eliminating the real SIM card area from all iPhone 14 models sold in the United States. Although models sold in various countries will support both physical and virtual SIMs, Apple may eventually do away with the SIM space in new countries depending on accessibility. The precise directions vary depending on the location. We have mostly focused on the American market for this assistant.

ESIM replaces the physical SIM that is inserted into the phone’s hardware so that users may easily switch between SIMs. Additionally, it enables people to use numerous SIM cards. The iPhone 14 will actually want up to eight SIM cards right away. How straightforward is it to add another eSIM to an iPhone overall? It should only advance a short distance.

    • To add a cell plan, go to Settings > Cell. On the other hand, the setting might be found under Settings > Versatile Information > Add eSIM, on the other hand.
    • To move the arrangement, several numbers will be seen in clear sight. You can physically select the option to “Move from Adjacent iPhone” or any other way. For everything to work, iOS 16 must be installed on both iPhones.
    • You can go through this cycle with the aid of the old model’s instructions. On the more seasoned iPhone, enter the confirmation code that will be displayed on the new iPhone.
    • Your transporter will send you a reminder to complete the arrangement once you transfer it to the more modern iPhone.

    QR code support

If your transporter provided you with a QR code, you can simply select “Use QR Code” when configuring the new iPhone or use the camera. In some places, you can find the “Use QR Code” setting under Settings > Portable Information > Add eSIM.

    Changing over actual SIM

A few transporters could support quick switching from an actual SIM to an electronic SIM without going to a retailer. You can do this by going to Settings > Cell, choosing Proselyte to eSIM, and then tapping on Convert Cell Plan. After confirming the cell plan, you must secretly tap Convert to eSIM and wait for it to start. Some transporters with U.S. bases might have their own software and settings to set up eSIM without any issues. While switching to eSIM, the majority of iPhone models should be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi. But the eSIM-only iPhone 14 that is sold in the U.S. can be used without a Wi-Fi connection to the internet.
