The new Fortnite season has many quests that players must accomplish to get great rewards. Mega City is amazing and fun to play in. Nonetheless, Main quests will have you hacking arcades, grinding rails, and driving rogue bikes across the city. Searching a computer for tampering is the final objective. Unfortunately, this quest’s computer button remains unclear. Here is how to search a computer for evidence of tampering in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.

How to search a computer for evidence of tampering
After completing five main Syndicate quests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, players can investigate a computer for tampering. The game will show you a computer location on the map for this one. This computer only searches by holding down the use button (E on the keyboard, X or square on the controller).
Three categories appear. After reviewing the options, press one button. Open any personnel file (Peely, Stash’d, etc.) and choose “Close All” (the large X) instead of “Return” (the round arrow). Closing the computer continues the Syndicate quest.

The “Search a computer for evidence of tampering” quest will be done once you press the “Close All” button. You can finish the Syndicate Quest (Part 1) by talking to Evie or Thunder. That will delay the next section by a month.
