The Apple iPhone 13 Series was announced on Tuesday, September 14 during Apple’s “California Streaming” event.
Apple introduced the latest and best new iPhone 13 models on Tuesday at its “California Streaming” event, featuring the iPhone 13, a revamp of the popular iPhone 13 Mini, and, of course, the iPhone 13 Pro and mondo-sized Pro Max. There’s also a new Apple Watch, as well as a new iPad (9th generation) and iPad Mini. Pre-orders for the new iPads went live earlier this week, but we’ve had to wait a long time for the new phones.
The wait is finally over! Pre-orders for the new iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max are now open, with prices starting at $699. Here’s all you need to know about Apple’s new lineup, including how to place a pre-order for one right now.
Pre-order the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini
The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini (beginning at $799 for 128GB storage and $699 for 64GB storage, respectively) come in five attractive colour schemes: Product Red, Starlight, Midnight, Blue, and Pink.
Greg Joswiak, Apple’s SVP of Worldwide Marketing, claims that the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini will be “more powerful, more capable, and more fun to use,” citing advancements like advanced camera systems, improved durability and waterproofing, and superior battery performance, all thanks to the new A15 Bionic chip.
The designs and components of the cameras have also been enhanced. Redesigned rear camera layouts with diagonally positioned lenses enable a dual-camera system with Apple’s TrueDepth and Face ID technology on the iPhone 13 and Mini.
Cinematic Mode, which not only records live in Dolby Vision HDR but also automatically monitors subjects and racks focus to give footage a cinematic sense, has also been added by Apple.
