How To Play With Your Buddy In Pokemon Go
The focus of the guide for today is on playing Pokemon Go with a friend. To begin, touch the large Play button beneath the Pokemon of your current Buddy in the Buddy Menu on your phone. Simply click the Play button after tapping the Buddy image at the bottom of your screen. If you get a response from your AR Buddy, the game is functioning properly. The red heart at the top of your Buddy menu should also appear next to the Play Together option. If a Pokemon responds to your message, it will have worked properly if the Play Together option on the Buddy menu also shows a red heart.
Simply place your fingers on the smartphone screen over your partner(s) to begin playing with them. Then, move over them. Simply start swiping your screen over your Buddy after you’ve noticed him or her up ahead of you. After tapping the button to activate AR Mode, tap the location on the screen where your friend should appear. When you tap it, Buddy’s menu will appear with a sizable Play button at the top.
All you have to do to play with your Pokemon pal once they magically materialize in the real world right before your eyes rub their screens. You must communicate with your Pokemon friend via the Pokemon Go AR Camera View if you wish to play with them. Pick the Berry, then give it to your Buddy to discover where areas there are that need some rubbing. Depending on the screen you are on, tap either the Pokemon itself or its tiny photo.
You can pick a Pokemon from those you’ve collected to be your partner in the game, though. You must already have one, however, you can select any Pokemon that isn’t currently in a gym as your Buddy from your Trainers Avatar Screen. One of the six activities Trainers may do to raise their Buddy Stat is to play games with Pokemon.
When playing Pokemon Go with the Pokemon designated as your Buddy, you can engage with them to earn affection hearts, which are needed to reach each level of friendship. Buddy feeding can be done on the same screen that is used to play the Play With Buddy feature, or by tapping on Berry icons next to the Buddy Pokemon that are shown on Buddy Pokemon Profile pages.
By designating a Pokemon as your Buddy, you will receive Candy for that particular species every time you travel a predetermined distance. Your Pokemon will enjoy interacting, much as they do when kept as pets, earning you a heart each day for each Buddy. Depending on the activities your Pokemon choose to partake in daily, you may play with them up to 20 times every day, but each time is only worth one heart.
