Recipe for Carrot Stew
Carrot stew in Tears of the Kingdom requires the following items:
- Swift carrot or Endura carrot
- Tabantha Wheat
- Fresh Milk
- Goat Butter
When you’ve gathered everything you need, head to your bag and drag the necessary ingredients into the cooking pot. Both Swift and Endura carrots may be used to give the meal a status effect that speeds up movement or increases stamina, respectively.
You should also avoid combining ingredients that have opposite status effects in the same meal. Performing this action has the opposite consequence.

How to Get Carrot Stew Ingredients
What good is a recipe if you don’t know what to make it with? Some of these things were difficult to locate in the wild, so I had to resort to purchasing them from shops. The coordinates and addresses of the places I visited in search of each individual ingredient are provided below:
- Swift Carrot: Hateno Village General Store (3357, -2169, 0120)
- Endura Carrot: Harvest near cherry blossom trees or from completing the “The Gathering Pirates” quest at East Akkala Stable.
- Tabantha Wheat: Slice grass patches with a sharp weapon in Tabantha Frontier (-3780, 1352, 0237)
- Goat Butter: Hateno Village General Store (3357, -2169, 0120) and Rito Village General Store (-3645, 1820, 0184)
- Fresh Milk: Hateno Pasture (3630, -2113, 0178) and Hateno Village General Store (3357, -2169, 0120)
Many of these products may be purchased from the General Store in Hateno Village, but the Tabantha Wheat will need you to travel to the Tabantha Frontier. The store prices range from 12 to 16 rupees, so be prepared to spend a little money!
